Behavioral Solutions, Inc. is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join their team!

• Manage the psychotropics of geriatric patients with behavioral health diagnoses commonly seen in primary care and long-term care settings- consistent with the scope of practice as either a family nurse practitioner or an adult-geriatric advance practice nurse.
• Collaborate with clinical psychologist and psychiatrist to provide high quality, evidence-based care in assisted living facilities, group homes, and long-term care facilities.
• Work is flexible and independent.

Requirements:

· Must be a licensed nurse practitioner/nurse prescriber in the state of Wisconsin and eligible as a Medicare/Medicaid provider.

· Experience in geriatrics, behavioral health or long-term care is preferred; however, we can offer training to the new Nurse Practitioner. Consultation is within scope of family practice.

Responsibilities:

· Provides psychiatric assessment, consultation and medication management for residents in long term care facilities, in collaboration with primary care physicians, psychologists and nursing home staff.

· Attends multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings.

· We are willing to provide training and supervision.
